  11. OCEAN SOFTWARE SHIPS COMPLETE ACCESS v1.0.1 for NEXTSTEP

  14. June 7, 1995-Jacksonville, Florida - Ocean Software, Inc. is pleased
  15. to announce that Complete Access version 1.0.1 is now shipping for
  16. the NEXTSTEP environment.  Complete Access is a database query,
  17. reporting, and data analysis application which works in conjunction
  18. with NeXT's Enterprise Objects Framework to generate sophisticated
  19. documents for the end-user.

  21. Complete Access enables both professionals and generalists to create
  22. hierarchical reports, forms, columnar reports, form letters,
  23. envelopes, and labels, quickly and easily.  The application can
  24. also produce summary pages to display aggregate values without
  25. showing the individual records from which the aggregates were
  26. derived.

  28. Database reporting applications typically create static documents
  29. which require continuous query execution to be modified.  Complete
  30. Access documents are dynamic, allowing the user to perform "what-if"
  31. scenarios on data by omitting, finding, sorting, and applying
  32. various filters to browse a subset of data retrieved with a database
  33. query or text file import.  Multiple documents may reference the
  34. results of a single query or import and multiple query results and
  35. imports are easily combined.
